Afternoon Equalitea

Afternoon Equalitea started as a pandemic project for me to work through all the fear and turmoil I was witnessing in the media and when I stepped out of my home. It then became a way for me to connect with people in a way I never even thought myself capable of. My guests ranged from authors, to therapists, to witches, and I was incredibly humbled by the generosity of all of them to share their stories with me and my audience. It was a wonderful way to spread positivity during a time when a lot of us couldn't see a way out of the dark times, as well as learn about each other so that we could leave lockdown and re-enter the world with more compassion and understanding than when we went in. On a practical note, this show gave me an opportunity to keep my creative skills at peak and learn some new tricks through copywriting, recording design, video editing, and social media management. Even though I put the show on hiatus, I do have plans to expand my reach and I am excited to see how it continues to evolve.
